Austin Matelson, who used to be known as Judas Devlin in WWE’s developmental system NXT, has made headlines over the past week after he accused NXT trainer and former “Tough Enough” star Bill DeMott of harassment. WWE looked into the claims, and said an investigation did not validate them.
On-and-off again WWE Superstar Chris Jericho took to Twitter to show his support for DeMott:
Hey @BillDeMott is a good friend & great trainer. If u can’t handle it then quit. My training at #HartBrothers camp was 10,000 times worse!

In response to Jericho’s support, current TNA star and former WWE talent Ethan Carter III, also known as ECIII, criticized the self-proclaimed “Best in the World.”
I love/sacrificed for pro wrestling. A Hart can stretch me any day. A know nothing dipshit slapping me when I’m concussed is different. — ec3™ (@EthanCarterTNA) March 4, 2015
Dolph Ziggler’s real-life brother Ryan Nemeth, who was Briley Pierce in WWE developmental, also commented:
(In 2 years I have still not been questioned once about my part in that poor guy’s letter. That is the opposite of a “full investigation.”)

Another letter allegedly sent to WWE’s Canyon Ceman hit the web Tuesday from former WWE talent Ryan Collins, accusing DeMott of similar abuse.
Editor’s Note
Here’s the difference between Jericho’s claims and reality: WWE is a publicly traded company that has a partnership with an anti-bullying organization. If such accusations are being thrown out there, they need to be handled incredibly seriously.
