We are saddened to report that Reid Flair, son of Ric Flair, has passed away aged 24.

Reid made appearances with his father for WCW, taking part in an angle which saw both he and his father have their head shaved. There had long been talk that Reid would eventually sign a WWE developmental deal, and although WWE officials had been interested, they did not sign him to a contract. He has since made several independent wrestling appearances including working for All Japan in January and was scheduled for appearances with his father for the Big Time Wrestling promotion in Hagerstown, Maryland tonight and in Altoona, Pennsylvania tomorrow.

Yesterday, Reid tweeted saying he was looking forward to working the weekend shows with his father.

There are no more details on his death at this time.

Everyone at Wrestling Rumors sends their condolences to the Fliehr family at this incredibly sad time.
