The “Sicilian Psychopath” Tommaso Ciampa made his return to Ring of Honor this weekend at their Border Wars iPPV in Toronto, Ontario. When his former manager RD Evans and QT Marshall came down to the ring to trash talk ROH tag team champions, ReDRagon, the lights in the arena began to flicker, and after a cryptic video package, Ciampa rushed the ring and attacked the two.

Ciampa was sidelined in August of 2012, when a torn ligament and major surgery put him back an estimated year of in-ring action, according to doctors.

This isn’t the only news coming out of Border Wars, as Ring of Honor has found itself a new – or rather, familiar – face for color commentary. Much to the dismay of Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness, SCUM won their tag team contest over Michael Elgin and Jay Lethal (who was replaced by Kevin Steen). The stipulation for the match put SCUM leader Steve Corino’s career on the line, should they lose, but given their victory he is now the new color commentator for ROH Television.
