The following are complete *SPOILERS* for the May 2nd edition of TNA Impact Wrestling.

#1 Contender’s Match
Chris Sabin def. Zema Ion & Sonjay Dutt

This was Sabin’s first match since 2012, and it was said to be short, but fast-paced and solid. He got the pinfall victory over Zema Ion, who is now out of the title picture and must win his way back.

Handicap Match
Rob Terry def. Joey Ryan, Jessie Godderz & Robbie E

“I Quit” Match
Kurt Angle def. D’Lo Brown

Angle forced Brown to submit and “quit” with the Ankle Lock.

Taryn Terrell & Mickie James def. Gail Kim & Tara

Taryn picked up the win over Tara, and seems to be on a pretty big hot streak in TNA right now.

In an in-ring segment, Bad Influence argues with Bobby Roode and Austin Aries over the finish of last week’s championship match. Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez come out and announce a #1 contender’s tag team match for May 9th, with James Storm as the special guest referee.

#1 Contender’s Match
Sting def. Matt Morgan

“The Icon” got the win with the Scorpion Death Lock, although Morgan never actually submitted, but rather passed out in the middle of the ring. Bully Ray vs. Sting for the World Title is official for TNA’s Slammiversary pay-per-view.
