On screen Director of Operations Kane is advertised for the Aug. 17 edition of “Monday Night Raw” that will take place just six days before “SummerSlam.” Kane was “injured” during the July 13 edition of “Raw” when he had his ankle “broken” by Brock Lesnar, writing him off of television.
Kane was reportedly supposed to return in the fall, but was already contacted to return to action because of injuries suffered by other competitors. Kane is reportedly well respected backstage for having such a good reputation for coming back sooner than promised.
He isn’t the only superstar advertised to return soon, as Ryback is also advertised to return on the Aug. 11 “Smackdown” tapings. It’s unknown what Kane will be doing once he returns, but it appears he will return sooner than expected.
Editor’s Note
Kane will probably be involved in the Rollins/Cena feud in someway, but I only hope that he eventually turns on Rollins and we see “The Big Red Machine” back.
