Two matches are taped before every episode of Raw for Main Event featuring WWE’s lower-card wrestlers. Tonight’s taping, however, saw a very unfortunate injury.
A match between Darren Young and Epico of the Shining Stars ended prematurely when Young had a nasty landing on the apron.
Various reports have speculated everything from a bad shoulder or elbow, but it definitely seems to be an arm injury.
Young was escorted to back by his on-screen mentor, Bob Backlund.
Young certainly won’t be missing much TV time based on how little he’s been utilized recently, but it’s never good to see an injury strike any part of the roster. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery for Young.

The Main Event taping also featured a match between Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke, where Fox claimed victory over the blond bodybuilder. Brooke was at one point rumored to be the next big thing in the women’s division, but it certainly seems those plans have fallen short.
Raw tonight has so far featured the return of Brock Lesnar and a controversial Tag Team Championship win for the Club.
