WWE loves their celebrity guests, and who can blame them? It’s extra publicity, an easy-to-write segment, and offers some mainstream media attention for the show. That’s especially true at WrestleMania.

John Cena spent a bit of time hosting NBC’S Today Show this morning, and had a proposition for famous host and weatherman Al Roker to be a guest ring announcer at WrestleMania.

Presumably, that spot will specifically for Cena’s mixed tag match, where’ he’ll team with Nikki Bella against the Miz and Maryse.

Popular speculation suggests that this contest will end with Cena making the long-awaited marriage proposal which has driven Total Divas storylines for most of its run. Some outlets are even taking bets on it occurring. (The odds are good, for the record.)

Expect approximately one bajillion weather-related puns in the five minutes given to this story on Raw tonight. How will they cram all that awesome humor into one segment? I don’t know! But this is my forecast.

WWE also announced today a concert for WrestleMania featuring Pitbull, long-time WWE collaborator Flo Rida, and others.

It’s going to be a very long show, folks.
