I can’t handle this. WWE is reporting an injury from Monday Night Raw.

The superstar affected? None other than the former Cruiserweight Champion, Rich Swann. He reportedly suffered a foot injury on Raw, leaving him unable to compete on 205 Live.

Swann did, however, see a little physical action on the show, being shoved off his crutches by the new Cruiserweight Champion, Neville.

We have the sneaking suspicion this injury may be a work (that is to say, “not real”), because it’s only been mentioned on WWE television. We can’t find any article about it on WWE.com, which would be unusual for a legitimate injury.

But at the same time, the Raw segment didn’t seem to play up a future injury angle at all. It was just a straight superkick from Swann that reportedly caused the issue. Is it real? I really don’t know at this point. You can see the segment yourself below:

Swann was the third Cruiserweight Champion, capturing the title from Brian Kendrick on 205 Live last November. The story of the division, however, has been all about Neville since his return at Roadblock, and his victory for the title at Royal Rumble felt like an inevitable conclusion.

What do you think? Is this one real, or all a part of the story? Let us know in the comments, or on Facebook!
