When we first heard about Seth Rollins injury earlier today, we’d hoped that it might be part of a storyline surrounding Samoa Joe’s debut. Sadly, it seems that’s not the case.
Multiple sources are now reporting that the injury is legitimate, and no one seems know how long Seth will be out of action.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Seth is set for an evaluation this week, and backstage producers are already trying to figure out something new for Triple H at WrestleMania.
Seth posted an image from the doctor’s office earlier, expressing his disappointment at the injury’s timing.

If this injury prevents Seth from taking part in WrestleMania, it would be the second year straight he’s missed WWE’s biggest show. In 2015, he lost in a singles match to Randy Orton, but became WWE World Heavyweight Champion by cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase during the main event between Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton.
WWE is playing up the injury onscreen as part of Samoa Joe’s surprise attack on Raw last week, and it seems that segment is indeed where the injury took place. For his part, Joe is sticking to the story.

Here’s hoping the best for Seth’s recovery. If he’s not back in time, who would you like to see Triple H face at WrestleMania? Let us know in the comments, or on Facebook.
