Braun Strowman has been destroying local competitors for months on Raw, and with his big push as part of Team Raw at Survivor Series, he’s finally started show that the hype is real. He’s been having solid matches and good promo segments, and despite some initial skepticism, it seems he’s slowly winning over his detractors. Now it sounds like WWE officials have already chosen Strowman’s next opponent.
According to Dave Meltzer on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, it seems that it will be big man versus big man after Survivor Series, with Braun entering into a feud with Big Show.
The pair have already had many matches on the house show circuit, and there have actually been some impressive results.

However, despite the fact that Big Show has been off WWE television for months, it’s very likely that crowds will still be exhausted by his repeated runs as a jobber to top talent. Big Show still gets huge reactions at local events, but his last few television runs have been stale and boring, despite his competency both in the ring and on the mic.
Take this all with a grain of salt, as these are early reports and and plans are always subject to change. Still, it seems that Big Show versus Braun Strowman is exactly the kind of match that WWE would love to promote.
