I’m feeling a little hungover from WrestleMania–and I didn’t even drink–but the biggest week of WWE’s year is far from over. We’ve got the much-anticipated “Raw After WrestleMania” tonight, and the move to live SmackDowns means that Tuesday’s show shouldn’t be missed, either.
Now, we’re getting word on some huge NXT call-ups expected tonight and tomorrow, courtesy of the post-WrestleMania edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required).
According to that report, Shinsuke Nakamura, Andrade “Cien” Almas, and Tye Dillinger will all be on the main roster “in the next couple days.” No word on which brand each star will land on, but it sounds like they’re all locks to hit the big time this week.
Following Takeover, “a lot of the guys who lost” will be coming up, said Dave Meltzer. He couldn’t confirm anyone besides the three names above, but suggested the Revival as a possibility.
Despite Killian Dain’s surprisingly lengthy stay in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last night, Sanity is not expected to be leaving NXT anytime soon. It also seems Elias Samson’s rumored post-WrestleMania debut is no longer in the cards, especially considering he appeared during tapings for this week’s NXT.
We’ll find out for sure what’s going down over the next two nights, but it looks to be a big week for fans of these stars.
