It’s not just Raw and SmackDown getting prepped for WrestleMania weekend–NXT has its own show in Orlando, and a special set of tapings from the University of Central Florida will make up the episodes through the month of March. Here’s what’s confirmed to air tonight.
- Ember Moon defeats Billie Kay (with Peyton Royce) – Billie appears to be injured, but might just be selling Ember’s finisher.
- Shinsuke Nakamura defeats TJ Perkins – Shinsuke dabs for a pop, TJ goes for submissions with the “injured” knee. Victory comes with a Kinshasa.
For the fans in the arena, Nakamura’s victory was followed by an appearance from NXT Champion Bobby Roode, who teamed with Andrade “Cien” Almas to beat up Shinsuke. Finn Balor then appeared to make the save. We’re not yet sure if this segment will make TV.
And really, we’re all sorts confused about what’s actually going on tonight. It seems the recent tapings were done out of order, so anything might go on tonight. We can’t confirm the following matches for this show, but this is what was scheduled for the first round of taping.
- Sanity promo
- Andrade “Cien” Almas defeats HoHo Lun
- Kassius Ohno defeats Elias Samson in a “Loser Leaves NXT” match
- The Authors of Pain prevent a Revival match from happening by beating up their opponents
- Tucker Knight & Otis Dozovic defeat Mike Marshall & Johnathan Ortagun
- Nikki Cross defeats Macey Estrella
Ember vs. Billie and Nakamura vs. Perkins will definitely be on the Network tonight, but beyond that? Any number of segments from the taping might be hitting. Check out the full spoilers for all the details.
