Her wrestling career was short-lived–involving a single pre-show match and a handful of live events–but it looks like Lana is getting back in the ring.
She’s been making the rounds at this weekend’s NXT house shows, first defeating opponent Mary Dobson with a “Lana Bomb.”
The Ravishing Russian even followed up with some dance moves.

We’ve heard that Lana will not be transitioning a full-time competitor, rather that she’s polishing up her skills at working spots and taking bumps. We can’t track down a source for that particular rumor, though, so take it with an even bigger grain of salt than usual.
Lana’s last broadcast appearance as a wrestler was WrestleMania 32. Her performance was completely unremarkable, either for quality or a lack thereof. Does she have potential as a competitor? Sure. More than the existing roster? Perhaps not.
But hey, Lana’s over, and it’s as much due to her excellent role as Rusev’s manager as her looks. Expanding her skillset can only make for better television alongside the Bulgarian brute.
Her segment alongside Enzo Amore this week was a standout bit, with a sexy, violent undertone that called to mind WWE’s edgier past. Check that bit out here. It looks like the feud between Rusev and the Certified Gs will continue for now, so we’re not sure what’s next for the couple.
