Jim Ross’ Wife Seriously Injured After Auto Accident

Good ol’ JR is in need of your support, wrestling fans. It seems Jim’s wife Jan was in a serious auto accident yesterday, and word from Jim Ross makes the situation sound bad.

JR first tweeted the news early this morning.

My wife Jan, my little angel, was hit while riding her Vespa & has multiple skull fractures. She's in surgery now. We need a miracle.

Ross later commented to TMZ on the situation, offering a bit more detail. The accident occurred near the couple’s home in Oklahoma. Jan wasn’t wearing a helmet, and the resulting injuries include multiple skull fractures.

She went to the hospital in critical condition, and has undergone surgery.

For his own part, Jim says he’s “hanging in there,” but that “it could be a tough day.”

He tweeted his thanks to supportive fans a bit later, but we haven’t heard anything more from the legendary WWE announcer.
