If you’re looking to catch the Royal Rumble today, here’s a quick rundown of the WWE Network schedule through the afternoon.
A replay of Takeover will air at 12PM Eastern, and it’s well worth checking that show out. Not only did it feature a bunch of great wrestling, several of its performers are likely candidates to appear in the Royal Rumble tonight.
Then, starting at 2PM Eastern, there’s a Holy Foley marathon, which is a show I haven’t seen and am assured is quite bad.
The Royal Rumble Kickoff show starts at 5PM Eastern, and features some fairly significant matches of its own. Most of SmackDown’s ladies will go head-to-head in a six-woman tag team match, while Sasha Banks and Nia Jax take each other on in singles action. There’s even a championship on the line here, as Cesaro & Sheamus defend the Raw Tag Titles against Gallows & Anderson.
The Kickoff show will also be broadcast on WWE’s Youtube channel.
The pay-per-view itself starts at 7PM Eastern–make special note of that, because it’s an hour earlier than the usual PPV start time. The main card features matches for the Cruiserweight Championship, Raw Women’s Championship, Universal Championship, and WWE Championship, in addition to the main event: the titular Royal Rumble.
Then, after the show, there’s a new episode of Holy Foley.
Here’s that schedule in convenient list form:
- 12PM ET/11AM CT – NXT Takeover: San Antonio
- 2PM ET/1PM CT – Holy Foley Marathon
- 5PM ET/4PM CT – Royal Rumble Kickoff
- 7PM ET/6PM CT – Royal Rumble
- 11PM ET/10PM CT – New Holy Foley
