WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match Announced for “Elimination Chamber”
The WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match set to be held on May 31 at “Elimination Chamber” and was announced during the May 18 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will face Dean Ambrose at the PPV on May 31.
Rollins was told by WWE Director of Operations Kane that he was able to decide who his opponent for “Elimination Chamber” would be after Ambrose told the WWE World Heavyweight Champion that he wanted to face him for the title at the PPV. Kane would then put Ambrose in a match against Bray Wyatt, where Rollins’ stooges, J&J Security, cost Ambrose the match by shoving him off the top rope and into the “Sister Abigail” finish from Wyatt.
Later in the program, during the “Architect of a Dream” party thrown for Rollins by The Authority, Ambrose made his presence felt yet again, getting the best of J&J Security and the champ. Ambrose then coerced The Authority into giving him the title match by placing Rollins on cinder blocks and acting like he was going to smash his head into them with a steel chair.
The competitors that will challenge each other for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship inside of the Elimination Chamber were also revealed during the May 18 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” You can see all of the matches that have been confirmed for “Elimination Chamber” here.
