According to the latest edition of “Wrestling Observer Radio,” WWE officials reportedly want ZZ eliminated off of “Tough Enough” immediately. ZZ is the Alligator wrestler from Louisiana that fans have continued to keep on the program since it’s debut on June 23.
Ironically, Gunn is the man that took a liking to ZZ’s personality and charisma during the selection process for the cast. However, in the following clip, he’s had it with the man’s work ethic.
Dave Meltzer claims that WWE may have released the footage early so that fans can see that ZZ “doesn’t have what it takes.” The company tried to set it up where ZZ would be voted off on July 28, but fans eliminated Mada, who looks and competes much more like a “Vince McMahon-style” WWE superstar than ZZ. Since fans weren’t manipulated by WWE’s tactics a week ago, officials have reportedly now stepped up their game, hoping that the above footage helps sway voters against ZZ on Aug. 4.
Editor’s Note:
Poor ZZ. Fans are drawn to his charisma, but it’s pretty obvious that the company is getting frustrated about the fact that he’s still there. Two guys have been voted off in two consecutive weeks that would have made great superstars. I guess we’ll see if this tactic works this time.
