According to Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of “Wrestling Observer Radio,” WWE has big plans for Lana and her upcoming push in the company. Lana last appeared for the company at WrestleMania 31 by the side of Rusev, who lost the United States Championship to John Cena at the event.
Following Rusev’s loss at WrestleMania on March 29, Lana, who had gotten knocked off of the ring apron at the finish of the match, sat on the ground nursing an ankle “injury” while her client, and real life love interest, Rusev proceeded to yell at here and leave her to fend for herself.
According to Meltzer, Vince McMahon is a big Lana fan (who isn’t?) and wants to push her on WWE programming into some sort of limelight. McMahon apparently thought that fans chanting, “We want Lana,” during her recent three week absence from WWE programming proves that the WWE Universe wants to see more of her. Prior to WrestleMania, Lana was off television filming her role in the upcoming WWE Studios’ motion picture, “Interrogation” with WWE Hall of Famer Edge.
On March 31, Lana took to Twitter to comment on her future since she wasn’t on the March 30 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” saying,
I create my own reality, no man, no obstacle will stand in my way of creating the greatest legacy & rewriting history pic.twitter.com/MFXJ40YkSD

It will be interesting to see what Lana has in store for the WWE Universe next, if it exists without being at Rusev’s side.

Hmmm…I wonder how she fits in without the Bulgarian Brute?
