The Undertaker will face Brock Lesnar in the main event at “SummerSlam” on Aug. 23. The match was made official by The Authority during the July 20 edition of WWE’s flagship program, “Monday Night Raw.”
Undertaker returned during the main event of “Battleground” and cost Lesnar the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar had “F-5’d” current champion Seth Rollins and was pinning him for the three-count, when the lights went out, ‘Taker’s infamous bell tolled, and then he appeared in the ring.
After a Undertaker delivered a kick to Lesnar’s groin, putting The Beast down and on notice, he landed one Chokeslam and two Tombstone Pildrivers to Lesnar before leaving the arena on July 19. He then returned to “Monday Night Raw” for the first time in over a year to address why he did so.
The Phenom’s reasoning for his attack, is that he was sick of Lesnar and Heyman reminding everyone week-after-week that The Beast conquered his undefeated WrestleMania streak at WrestleMania XXX. Undertaker was concussed heavily about six minutes into the match at WrestleMania XXX, leaving a lot to be desired from the Lesnar vs. Undertaker match-up.
Undertaker has only defeated Lesnar via Count-Out during an episode of “Smackdown” during Lesnar’s initial WWE run between 2002-2004. Lesnar defeated Undertaker every other time during that program, and then was the first to get a victory over The Deadman at WrestleMania. The duo will once again try to bring eyes to the product, as they will face-off one more time at “SummerSlam” on Aug. 23 in Brooklyn, New York.

I hope this match delivers…BIG time.
