In a WWE Network exclusive that aired immediately following the live broadcast of “Monday Night Raw” on March 16, Sting speaks in a WWE ring for the first time ever and comments on his upcoming match with Triple H at WrestleMania 31. As previously reported, Sting will make his WWE in-ring debut on March 29 in Santa Clara, California against “The Game.”
Sting made a special appearance during the March 16 edition of “RAW,” appearing seemingly “out of no where” to help The Viper Randy Orton fend off The Authority as the show came to a close. After hitting a Stinger Splash on both members of J&J Security, Sting then laid out Jamie Noble with a Scorpion Death Drop, as Orton dropped Joey Mercury with an RKO.
After the two babyfaces hit their finishes on the stooges of The Authority, they proceeded to stare down their WrestleMania 31 adversaries. The program ended with this image before fading to black.
The feed then began on the WWE Network, where Michael Cole would ask Orton about the previous moment where he and Sting had taken care of The Authority’s henchman. Orton told Sting that he didn’t need anyone watching his back, but that the moment was, “pretty damn cool.”
Sting then grabbed the mic, and proved to the world that he’s still one of the best stick-men in the business. With excitement flowing from the ground up, Sting said that he’s been waiting 14 years to be in a WWE ring, and that it feels, “smokin’ good” to finally be there. He then said that he meant what he said when he told Triple H that someone needs to take him down, and that someone, is Sting.

Editor’s Note:
This could have been on TV, but I get why they saved it for the WWE Network. However, THIS gets me excited for the Sting vs. Triple H match…so I can imagine how much more of an impact this would have made actually airing LIVE during the “RAW” broadcast.
