A big six-man tag team match has been confirmed for WWE’s “Elimination Chamber” Pay-Per-View. During the Jan. 28 tapings for “Smackdown,” it was announced that The Wyatt Family will face The Shield on Feb. 23 at the “Elimination Chamber” PPV.
As we previously reported, The Wyatt Family and The Shield were rumored to battle at the in a three-on-three tag team bout at the annual February event. These spoilers confirm this rumor and the match will be made official during Friday night’s airing of “Smackdown”
The set up for the match began during the Jan. 27 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” where the Wyatts cost The Shield a chance to enter the Elimination Chamber Match. During the Jan. 28 “Smackdown” tapings, The Shield hit the ring and cut a promo on the Wyatts, saying that they want a piece of the Family.
Triple H then comes out and tells Ambrose he understands where The Shield are coming from. He reiterates that The Wyatt Family cost them. He tells The Shield to let it go, saying that there is no benefit from it and will only lead to more problems. Reigns then tells Triple H that he does not need his approval.
Triple H responds, saying there is no talking them out of it and asks the crowd if they want to see The Wyatt Family go at it with The Shield. He then announces The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield at the “Elimination Chamber” PPV.
