Seth Rollins may not be used as a member of Evolution. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rollins is expected to be associated with The Authority, as seen on WWE television, but will not be a “new member” of the faction called Evolution.
During the June 9 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” the company debuted a new entrance theme and video for Rollins. The former Shield member also shed his trademark riot gear and donned a suit for the program, which lead many to assume that Rollins would be joining Evolution. However, this is reportedly not the case.
WWE is currently discussing what type of ring gear Rollins should now compete in, but knew that he had to look different during his address to the WWE Universe on June 9. The thought was, Rollins was to discuss his evolving character and separation from The Shield, so he couldn’t go out to the ring wearing the same gear that he had previously wore when associated with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
It should be noted however, that while Rollins appeared in a suit at the beginning of WWE “Main Event” on June 10, he did compete in his Shield garb during the program. This was due to his lack of new ring gear.
Editor’s Note:
So it seems as if they’re just going to roll with Rollins and Orton being singles stars again with the absence of Batista. Many believed that Rollins would be replacing Batista in the stable, but now that appears to not be the case.
