Roman Reigns is scheduled to return to action in December. According to advertisements for WWE Live Events following the “TLC” PPV on Dec. 14, Reigns is slated to return to the ring in time to reestablish fan support before the 2015 “Royal Rumble.”
The Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia is advertising Reigns for the Dec. 30 tapings of “Smackdown.” The ad not only claims Reigns will be competing during the tapings, but it also gives light to who his next feud may be against. Reigns is slated to face United States Champion Rusev during the tapings.
Prior to suffering a hernia that required emergency surgery just one day before the “Night Of Champions” PPV, Reigns was slated for a monster push heading into WrestleMania season. As of this report, Reigns is still expected to win the 2015 Royal Rumble match and move on to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 31.
However, plans could change on the Road to WrestleMania, as they did in 2014. That all depends on how the WWE Universe takes to Reigns upon his return to the ring following “TLC” in December.
Editor’s Note:
Will be interesting to see how fans react to Reigns’ return. He was starting to get booed before he was injured.
