Arda Ocal, of the Baltimore Sun and Rogers TV, recently posted a new interview with a returning WWE superstar on his official Youtube page. In this interview, Rob Van Dam talks about his upcoming WWE schedule, why he re-signed with the WWE, and who he would like to face during his upcoming tenure with the company.

When asked resigning with the WWE, Van Dam said that they pursued him. He discusses the previous run he had, where he felt like there were so many guys ahead of him (booking wise), and that he got burnt out on the travel schedule. These are the main reason he left the company in 2006. When asked about returning in 2009, Van Dam asked for more of a part-time schedule, which at the time the WWE was unwilling to give him.

Now, with changes in thought process and changes made in the WWE offices, part-time contracts are more regular these days. Van Dam basically says he signed for a year, but that they are taking baby steps about how the company will use him over that time. He makes references to Jericho’s schedule as an example of what his will look like.

When Ocal asks RVD who he looks forward to facing upon his return to the WWE, “the Whole F’n Show” just simply stated, “whoever makes me the most money.” He goes on to clarify that he doesn’t look at wrestlers and pick and choose who he wants to work with, he just really wants to work with the biggest drawing guys in the company. In his words, he wants to main event WrestleMania XXX, because that’s where the big pay day would be.
