Ric Flair is expected to appear on WWE television again soon. As previously reported, Flair recently underwent surgery which kept him from appearing on “NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4 Way,” “Monday Night Raw,” and “Smackdown.”
The recent surgeries will also keep Flair from appearing at “Night Of Champions.” The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that, while not currently advertised for the PPV, Flair was expected to appear in some way, shape, or form, likely during the Kick-Off show.
Full details regarding Flair’s procedures have been tightly under wraps. However, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has provided some news regarding Flair’s condition. Ross reported that Flair had appendicitis, and had an appendectomy. He also claims that Flair had another surgery to rectify a sports hernia.
WWE.com then posted a story on Flair having surgery, stating that the procedures were successful and that he would be missing the Sept. 16 “Smackdown” tapings, which he had been previously advertised for. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter does state that many within WWE believe Flair will be back on television very soon.
Editor’s Note:
We here at WrestlingRumors.net wish Flair a speedy recovery. Until then, Space Mountain has been closed and deemed “Under Repair.”
