Paul Bearer will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame’s Class of 2014. WWE made the announcement during the March 3 edition of “Monday Night Raw.

As we previously reported, Bearer was expected to be added to the already prestigious Hall of Fame Class of 2014, which includes Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Lita, and the Ultimate Warrior, as soon as the news of his death became public in 2013. Bearer, who will go down in the annals of professional wrestling history as one of the greatest managers of all time, will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame just one night before WrestleMania XXX.

Tragically, William Moody, aka Paul Bearer and Percy Pringle III, passed away on March 5, 2013. He was only 58 years old.

Moody began his career in professional wrestling as Percival “Percy” Pringle III in 1979. He would make the character famous in WCCW, and managed the likes of Rick Rude, Steve Austin, and Mark Calaway (The Undertaker).

Moody then made his WWE debut in 1991, returning to his role as Calaway’s manager as Paul Bearer, and would go on to become one of the most legendary personalities in wrestling history. During his stint in World Wrestling Entertainment, Moody managed such talent as the Undertaker, Kane, Mankind, and Vader.

While it has not been confirmed, the Undertaker is expected to induct Moody on April 5. Kane has also been discussed, as well as a combination of the two, but nothing has yet been confirmed.

Moody will posthumously take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame on April 5, when the entire WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will air live for the first time in its existence on the WWE Network.
