Bobby Lashley Returns to MMA Action Tonight

Former ECW and United States Champion Bobby Lashley will be making his return to MMA action tonight at “The British Invasion: US vs UK” pay per view. This will be the inaugural event for the upstart MMA promotion Global Warrior Challenge. The event will take place at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The first scheduled bout is at 8:30 pm EST, and can be seen on pay per view.

The main event pits Bobby Lashley against Matthew Larson, a mixed martial artist whose current record is two wins and two losses. The two weighed in for their bout on Friday. Both were under the maximum weight of 265 pounds as Larson weighed in at 256 pounds, while Lashley weighed in at 241 pounds. Lashley currently holds a mixed martial arts record of eight wins and two losses, and hopes to capture his ninth win on Saturday.
