The New Day faction featuring Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E may officially debut at “Survivor Series.” As previously reported, Big E, Woods, and Kingston are all working together in a new stable that is possibly named “The New Day.”
In a series of vignettes that have been airing over the last 4 weeks on WWE television, Woods, Kingston, and Big E have all proclaimed that a “new day” is coming. Using an apparent “southern gospel” preaching gimmick, all three men have stood in front of a choir as they stated that a “new day” is on the horizon.
While Woods projected more of a James Brown vibe during his promo package, both Kingston and Big E were seemingly more pastoral. No one knows just how this stable is going to look, or even if they’re legitimately going to be called, “The New Day.”
Initially it was reported that the three men would be teaming up to rejuvenate the long-lost Attitude Era faction, the Nation of Domination. However, amidst allegations of racism, WWE reportedly pulled the plug on the idea. However, the three superstars continued to lobby for a chance to work together, and may debut as a new group on Nov. 23.
The trio has been working dark matches and WWE Live Events as partners for almost three months, gaining familiarity with each other as teammates. Prior to becoming part of The New Day, each superstar had fallen to lower-midcard status and WWE Creative had nothing for any of them moving forward.
WWE officials believe The New Day provides each superstar a chance to shine as part of a stable that can give each of them a boost in character so that they may have a chance to connect to the fans and get over. Without this new stable, each man may have just stayed lost in the shuffle until their contracts ran out.
There’s been no spoilers in regards as to when or where The New Day will arrive, although many believe it may be to face Fandango during the “Survivor Series” Kick-Off show on the WWE Network at 7 p.m. ET on Nov. 23.

Ready to see what this stable has to offer these guys. They all need a boost. Big time.
