A new report from F4Wonline.com has provided an update on what WWE Creative is being told about Daniel Bryan’s return. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company’s writing team is being told not to worry about including Bryan in any future storylines, as absolutely no one knows when the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion will once again lace up his boots. However, Daniel Bryan says that he hopes he is back in the ring by January.

Bryan has been on-the-shelf since May due to injures stemming from years of extremely aggressive in-ring action taking a toll on his body. Bryan, who’s real name is Brian Danielson, has worked a dangerous style of professional wrestling throughout his career, including multiple high-risk maneuvers, suicide dives, and high-impact drop kicks. The constant strain on his body came to a head in May when the superstar began experiencing severe numbness in his arm, losing most of his strength in the limb, which could have put himself and others at risk when working matches inside the squared circle.

Danielson was “stripped” of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship by The Authority when it was disclosed that he would need an extended time away from the ring to have surgery and rehabilitate. After having one procedure done to relieve pressure on nerves in his neck, Danielson began physical therapy in order to return to the profession he loves so dearly.

However, as of this writing, Daniel Bryan is still having issues with the loss of strength in his arm, leading to some medical advisors suggesting that he has Tommy John surgery before returning to action. In a recent interview, and during a “Midnight Madness” release party for the new WWE video game, “WWE 2K15,” Bryan expressed that he hopes to be competing again by WrestleMania and doesn’t know if he’s actually going to have a second surgery or not.

The report from Meltzer states that Bryan claimed he would be very disappointed if he’s not on the card for WrestleMania 31, and that he hopes he can be back in the ring by January in order to have a full stroll down the Road to WrestleMania in 2015.

Editor’s Note:
Will he be back in January or not? Will he have the second surgery or not? This whole situation seems crazy to me.
