The most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that the May 19 edition of “RAW” drew a huge attendance figure in London, England. According to this report, WWE sold out the O2 Arena, pulling in more than $1.2 million at the gate, making May 19’s event one of the highest grossing “Monday Night Raw” tapings of all time, if not the greatest.
Altough WWE announced that the attendance in the O2 Arena on May 19 was 16,991, there were honestly 15 thousand, which is still considered a sell-out crowd. The following is a list of attendance figures for the WWE European Tour as of May 21:
May 14 – Glasgow, Scotland: 9,500 fans (Sell-Out)
May 15 – Newcastle, England: 9,000 fans
May 16 – Leeds, England: 8,000 fans
May 16 – Turin, Italy: 7,000 fans
May 17 – Nottingham, England: 9,200 fans
May 17 – Innsbruck, Austria: 3,500 fans

May 19 “Monday Night Raw” – London, England: 15,000 fans (Sell-Out)

Editor’s Note:
Highest grossing “RAW” taping ever? Time to send “SummerSlam” or another big PPV event over to the O2 soon then for sure, right?
