Former WWE and TNA superstar Lisa Marie Varon may be teasing a return to the WWE. Varon, who wrestled as Tara in TNA, was recently released from the company due to their rising financials struggles.
Varon has used Twitter to tease her next endeavor, which could be a return to World Wrestling Entertainment. Her latest tweets were of her working out, using the hashtag, “#WhatIsSheGettingReadyFor.” As of Saturday morning, Varon has deleted all tweets from her handle, @TaraLisaMarie, aside from three from August of 2012. Many believe that this, along with the photos that were uploaded to the account Thursday and Friday, that she could be headed for a return to the WWE.
Varon previously competed for Vince McMahon’s company from 2000-2009, most notably under the character name of Victoria. She originally debuted as The Godfather’s “Head Ho,” with her most rememberable spot during that time being put through a table when The Godfather switched gimmicks to “The Goodfather” in late 2000. She would then be given the name Victoria and enjoy a successful eight year run in the company, capturing the WWF/WWE Women’s Championship on multiple occasions.
