Former WWE and TNA champion Kurt Angle sat down with radio/internet/former wrestling personality Mark Madden Wednesday for an interview in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The interview aired on the Pittsburgh FM station, 105.9 “The X,” and covered a variety of topics, including TNA’s struggles with “the other company,” especially in the realm of booking venues in Pittsburgh.

He also talks about getting IMPACT WRESTLING out of the “IMPACT ZONE” and its new life on the road, his own place in the history of professional wrestling, whether or not he wants to return to the WWE before retiring, and there’s even a story about Angle taking on Brock Lesnar before a WWE event. When asked about his health, Angle says he’s still a machine and “ready to go,” no matter how beat up his body has become.
