JTG has been officially released by WWE. The former WWE superstar is one of many employees WWE released on June 12, 2014.

JTG made his WWE debut in 2006 as part of the tag team Cryme Tyme. He was then released from the company in 2007, only to be re-signed in 2008.

Never shaking under-to-mid card status, JTG was barely seen on WWE television between 2010 and 2014. His last official match for the company took place on Sept. 20, 2013 during WWE “Superstars.” He lost the bout to Santino Marella.

JTG commented on his release on Twitter, saying,

Ten other WWE employees have been confirmed as released by the company on June 12, which is now being deemed “Black Thursday,” including Brodus Clay, Aksana, Jinder Mahal, Curt Hawkins, Evan Bourne, and Teddy Long.

Editor’s Note:
I cannot believe it. How he made it THIS long is beyond something short of miraculous. Kudos JTG. You stole more than hats from the fans. You stole the IWC’s hearts…mainly due to memes.
