WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently had some harsh words about the WWE Divas division in the Q&A section of JRsBarBQ.com. Ross also talks about Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer and the Undertaker’s positioning at WrestleMania during this section of his website.
On the Divas Division: chazwao Asks: So far the success of Total Divas has not translated to the on air WWE product. Those featured on the show are either getting no reaction or even booed. While AJ seems to be getting cheered louder and louder each week. So my question is…why is she supposed to be the villain and the Total Divas the heroes? Seems bizarre.
J.R.’s Answer: I don’t know. Does it really matter?
On the Undertaker’s Positioning at WrestleMania: TakerMania Asks: Hi Jr, just curious, Why is it that The Undertaker who has appeared in 21 WM matches has only closed THREE Wrestlemania’s? A legend like Taker should have closed more Manias. As I’ve stated in the past I feel Taker should have closed the show at WM23 (against Batista) and At WM27 (against HHH).
J.R.’s Answer: I don’t know other than WWE title bouts generally close WrestleMania. Takers a hard act to follow at WM.
On Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer: seanlang Asks: What is you’re opinion of Dave Meltzer and the dirt sheets in general?
J.R.’s Answer: Dave is a very bright guy. Knows the business better than most.
