Here is some interesting information regarding the “Money In The Bank” pre-show. As of June 27, the only thing advertised for the PPV kick-off show is an appearance by former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, and the company may only feature a lengthy talk with him as the precursor to the event.
However, if they add a match to the show, which will be accessible for free this month on YouTube and multiple other digital formats besides the WWE Network, it would be one of the following matches.
Layla vs Summer Rae (w/ Special Guest Referee Fandango): This match is expected to be added to the “Money In The Bank” card, and could easily be a pre-show match if the company chooses to use it in that capacity. While not yet confirmed on WWE.com, this match has been set up on WWE TV for some time, and has been rumored to be added during the June 27 edition of “Smackdown.”
Big E vs Rusev: These two brutes will battle each other again on June 29, and the match is expected to be added during the June 27 edition of “Smackdown.” The question now is, will WWE put this match on the actual PPV card, or feature it during the live pre-show broadcast for free?
Goldust/Stardust vs RybAxel: While still not yet confirmed, this match is expected to also be added to the “Money In The Bank” event on “Smackdown.” As a tag team match, this match may be the front-runner in the kick-off show match guessing game.
