Amazon.com has removed the leaked DVD cover for the 2014 edition of “SummerSlam” from it’s website. As previously reported, Amazon leaked the image on June 25 when it began taking pre-orders for the “SummerSlam” DVD. WWE officials are reportedly very upset about the situation, mainly because the image spoils the finish for the main event of the  upcoming “Money In The Bank” PPV on June 29.

The image features John Cena and Brock Lesnar, as if they are the main event of “SummerSlam.” With WWE teasing that Lesnar would be facing the WWE World Heavyweight Champion in August, it seems as if Cena will be pulling down the titles from atop a ladder on June 29 and walking out of the arena shouting, “the champ is here!”

PWInsider.com claims that WWE officials are very upset that the image was released and that their “SummerSlam” main event has been spoiled. However, it seems as if WWE keeps letting things get “spoiled” as of late on purpose.

Batista’s return was spoiled by an “accident” that occurred in a WWE office. The email containing advertisements for February, which featured Batista, was not supposed to go out as early as it did, and it did not feature a warning to the arena’s saying, “DO NOT PUBLISH YET.”

Hulk Hogan’s return was also spoiled by TMZ. WWE.com then acknowledged Hogan’s involvement with WrestleMania XXX within hours of the story breaking. Even scripts from episodes of “Monday Night Raw,” which provided people’s health and contractual status with the company, have been leaked.

Most recently, talent agencies were looking for orchestral members and a body builder to dress up in Sting face-paint for something WWE related, possibly the “WWE 2K15” reveal ad. When news of the agencies ad looking for people hit the Internet, WWE immediately tried to act like it had nothing to do with the casting call. However, it was then reported that they were mad that news of that got out because they had yet to finish the contract they are working on with Sting, and that this was for something special to announce his involvement with the company.

So, is the company leaking stuff willingly, knowing that the Internet will grab it and run it whatever the news or information is? Or is a multi-million dollar company really having this many issues keeping their plans under wraps?

Editor’s Note:
I promise that they are leaking some of this stuff on purpose. Reality Era right? Right. Allows them to garner interest, test out ideas, etc. Instant response once it hits the web, always.
