WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan returns to “RAW” on Aug. 11. The Immortal one will “run wild” as the host of “Monday Night Raw” again for the first time since the April 7 edition of the program, which was just one night removed from WrestleMania XXX.
Hogan hosted “RAW” on April 7 and presented Cesaro with the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy, which would later be destroyed by Jack Swagger. That was the last appearance on WWE TV for the Hulkster, who still has made appearances elsewhere for the company.
Hogan was heavily promoted for WWE’s recent Japanese tour, being a big drawing factor for international fans. The Hulkster teased he was going to sign a big name overseas as well, and it was Hogan, along with long-time manager Jimmy Hart, who sat down and performed the “contract signing” between WWE and Japanese superstar KENTA.
Hogan will now host the “SummerSlam” go-home edition of “Monday Night Raw,” where he will undoubtably get involved in some sort of angle leading up to “SummerSlam” on Aug. 17.
Editor’s Note:
Always ready to hear “Real American” blare through my speakers. Bring it on. I bet he gets involved with Rusev/Jack Swagger. That’d be cool.
