Hulk Hogan Promotes the Upcoming WWE Announcement Regarding KENTA

In a recent Instagram post on WWE’s official account, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan promotes the upcoming WWE announcement regarding KENTA. As previously reported, the acquisition of KENTA by WWE is expected to be announced on July 12 when the company holds a Live Event in Osaka, Japan. Hogan hypes up the announcement in the Instagram video.

WWE will be announcing the signing of independent star Kenta Kobayashi, better known by his ring name “KENTA,” on July 12. Osaka, Japan was chosen as the location for the reveal, and was initially reported with the wrong date of July 11. Hulk Hogan and other WWE officials will be on hand for the announcement.

Additionally, there are rumors going around that KENTA will sign his contract with WWE in the squared circle during the day’s live event. In the middle of May, KENTA confirmed his jump to WWE. Amid his confirmation, it was noted that KENTA would be joining WWE’s developmental territory in NXT at some point during the summer.

KENTA achieved fame in Pro Wrestling Noah, a major wrestling promotion in Japan. He became a GHC Heavyweight Champion, the promotion’s most prestigious title, in 2013. KENTA has also worked for Ring of Honor in the past, facing off against Daniel Bryan on many occasions.
