Former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg recently appeared in an interview on WQAM radio in Miami, FL. During the interview, Goldberg stated that he is in fact contemplating a return to the ring. He didn’t clarify what company he would like to work with, but did say he is more open to a return to the business now than before.
Goldberg, who is Forty-six years old, has not wrestled since his departure from the WWE in 2004 but keeps himself in “ring shape” at all times. He revealed that he is more open to coming back to the professional wrestling world now because of his son. He would like to wrestle live in front of his son, who as of late has just been watching his father’s previous matches on YouTubewatches his matches on YouTube.
Goldberg claimed that he would like to work as a heel if he begins wrestling again. He also stated that he believes Ryback is a total rip-off of his Goldberg character, with the original streak and everything. Even though he does believe it was a blatant copycat gimmick at the start, Goldberg also expressed to the hosts running the interview that he has no ill feelings towards Ryan Reeves, the man behind the Ryback character.
