The Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that ss of last week, former Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards have not heard back from WWE officials regarding their try-out with the company back in August.

The American Wolves were two of thirty-some-odd individuals who participated in an evaluation session at WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, in hopes of a WWE contract. As we previously reported, both Edwards and Richards were praised for their performance during their try-out and it was believed that they stood out among the rest.

When WWE officials are thinking about signing prospective talents who participate in these try-outs, they report on who they feel are the best prospects to WWE COO Triple H. He is the final voice in making the decision on who gets offered a WWE contract.
