A Divas Championship match between AJ Lee and Naomi may be added to the “Royal Rumble” on Jan. 26. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the title match between Lee and Naomi may get added to the “Royal Rumble” Pay-Per-View card on Sunday, depending on how much time is left on the drawing board after the final card is organized.

Lee was pinned by Naomi during a tag team bout during the latest episode of “Monday Night Raw.” Speculation immediately began about if match between the two would take place at the annual January PPV event, leading to the topic being discussed on Wrestling Observer Radio on Jan. 21.

Meltzer claims that the match is out there ready to take place, but will only be added to the card if enough time is allotted for it once WWE Creative Team members arrive at the arena and map out the direction of the show. Lee has successfully defended the WWE Divas Championship at every PPV event she has been apart of since winning the title in June 2013.

As the longest reigning WWE Divas Champion in history, could Lee’s championship reign be coming to an end at the hands of a Funkadactyl? Tell us your thoughts on who you think the next Divas Champion will be in the comment section below!
