New reports have provided more details from Cassandra Frazier’s lawsuit against WWE that was filed on Feb. 18. As previously reported, the widow of former WWE, ECW, and TNA superstar Nelson Frazier, who competed as Mabel, Viscera, and Big Daddy V in WWE, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company.

Frazier filed the suit one year-to-the-day that her husband passed away due to massive heart attack. However, she believes he died due to complications from in-ring competition more-so than his weight and lifestyle.

Frazier claims that WWE’s negligence towards their superstars and former talent leads to long-term consequences health-wise. She claims they turned a blind eye to her husband’s multiple concussions and other “serious, permanent, and disabling injuries” over the years.

She also claims WWE held back on informing her husband of important medical information and research that could have helped Frazier in the long run with dealing with current and former injuries. She also states that they are more than misleading when describing the risks of the industry with superstars that sign contracts to perform for the company.

The lawsuit claims that scar tissue on his Viscera’s skull formed permanent knots and lumps on his head, proving that he had serious injuries that were never addressed by the company, or downplayed to keep themselves protected from having to pay more or admit to negligence. The suit also says that Frazier had severe symptoms of neurological injuries and other physical trauma before he died on Feb. 18, 2014, including severe migraines which had taken him to physicians in search of treatment.

He also sought treatment for severe depression due to the speculated “brain damage” that he suffered during his WWE career. The suit states,

“Frazier had sustained serious longterm brain damage from his WWE career. Frazier’s broken spirit and body left him virtually penniless, and he was forced to pay cash for medical services in the months before his death.”

Frazier’s wife made nine official claims against WWE in the lawsuit, including negligence, negligent misrepresentation, intentional misrepresentation, fraudulent concealment, vicarious liability, fraud by omission or failure to warn, punitive damages, wrongful death and loss of consortium by herself.
