Daniel Bryan Says He’s Working Hard to Get Back in the Ring
WWE superstar Daniel Bryan says he’s working hard to get back in the ring as soon as possible. As previously reported, Bryan relinquished the WWE Intercontinental Championship during the May 11 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” stating that he may be out for weeks, or he may never wrestle again.
While neither WWE or Bryan have thoroughly explained just what type of injury is plaguing the former champion, he did say that doctors are yet sure of the severity of his situation. He announced during the segment on “RAW” that he has had and MRI, but the doctors are not sure of how long the issue will keep him from competing.
Bryan said it could be weeks, months, or he could be forced to retire, although that’s not what he wants. He wants to be competing inside of a 20-x-20 WWE ring as soon as possible. Just shy of 24 hours removed from making his announcement and his surrender of the IC strap, Bryan took to Instagram to reveal that he was heading to physical therapy in hopes of returning soon.
Bryan is currently still slated to appear at WWE “Payback” in some way, shape, or form says Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. Time will tell just how this injury affects Bryan’s future in the company.
Editor’s Note:
Man, I really want him to get well, and I mean fully healthy, really soon.
