Daniel Bryan is not expected to enter this year’s 30-man Royal Rumble Match. PWInsider.com is reporting that Bryan is only slated to face Bray Wyatt at the twenty-seventh annual WWE “Royal Rumble” Pay-Per-View on Jan. 26, and is not expected to make an appearance during the Royal Rumble Match itself.

As we previously reported, Bryan suffered a concussion during the Jan. 13 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” However, Bryan was cleared to compete again just hours before “RAW” went live on Jan. 20, allowing the WWE Creative Team to continue building a Bryan vs. Wyatt bout for the 2014 “Royal Rumble.”

While the match was announced during “Monday Night Raw,” Bryan did not work a match or take any bumps during the program. WWE purposefully kept Bryan out of harms way during the broadcast, in order for him to have six more days to recover from his injury.

While withholding the announcement of Bryan being in the Royal Rumble Match could be a ploy by WWE Creative so that the superstar can make a surprise entrance, as of Jan. 21 Bryan is not expected to be a part of the battle royal at all.
