Former World Heavyweight Champion Christian may be used more on WWE TV. It was announced during the Sept. 15 edition of “Monday Night Raw” that a special edition of Christian’s “Peep Show” will be taking place during the hour-long “Night Of Champions” Kick-Off show on Sept. 21. Chris Jericho will be Christian’s guest during the segment.
Christian has been cleared to compete by WWE’s medical staff for some time, but much like previous times when Christian has had to step away and return, WWE creative has had nothing for the former champion in regards to storylines and angles. Creative has been looking for a place to insert Christian, but have had no ideas on how to bring him back into the fold.
Rumors of Christian retiring for good from active competition have also hit the Internet recently stemming from his latest struggle with concussions. While Christian has had a great career, he could still have more left in the tank if WWE Creative can provide something worthwhile for him.
With Christian running the “Peep Show” with Chris Jericho on Sept. 21, this could be WWE Creative’s way of putting Christian back in front of the WWE Universe on a bigger scale than just having him appear on a pre-show panel. As WWE “talk show” segments have done in the past, the Sept. 21 edition of “Peep Show” could lead to Christian getting physical with another superstar, or tease an upcoming feud between Captain Charisma and someone else on the roster.
Editor’s Note:
With Jericho leaving on Sept. 21, Christian would be a good hand to get back on WWE television and produce good on-screen matches. In my opinion, he always does good work. Where he hasn’t had a great feud in a while, he always has good matches.
