In a recent interview held with Dan Defrancesco of Lohud.com, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray and Devon talk about being heels and interacting with fans. Here are some highlights from the interview:
On being the biggest villans in TNA: “When they love me they love me a lot; when they hate me they hate me even more. I’ve been just as successful being loved as I have being hated, but if you give me my choice I’d rather be hated.” – Bully Ray
On being such good heels at the start of their careers that their fan interactions would become riotous: “The more we can get that crowd into a riot, the more we got excited and the more we did it. We knew how to get underneath their skin to the point where people really wanted to jump that railing and come at us.” – Devon
On wrestling in “Street Fight” or “Hardcore” matches: “Whenever you add those elements into a match, it always makes things more exciting and more entertaining. You always get the feeling that anything can happen and often does. I think fans appreciate it a lot more.” – Bully Ray
