Bad News Barrett supports Heath Slater in his fight against allegations of assault that were pressed against the WWE superstar in 2011. An arrest warrant was issued on Dec. 3 in regards to the matter, which Slater states will not hold up in court.

The warrant against Slater is for a misdemeanor assault charge. A woman by the name of Corrine Oliver, who worked security during the company’s post-WrestleMania 27 party in Atlanta, claims that Slater said she was pretty, asked her to go to his room with him, and then was placed in a choke hold and dragged towards the hotel elevator when she refused to join him.
Oliver also states that she suffered neck injuries from the attack, stemming from her struggle to get away from Slater. She reported the incident to Atlanta police after a few months had passed after first reporting it to her employer, Allied Barton Security Services the day following WrestleMania 27.
WWE issued a statement regarding the matter on Dec. 3 as well, saying,
“WWE has been advised that a misdemeanor arrest warrant has been issued against Heath Miller (aka Heath Slater), but we have not seen a copy or been provided with the underlying charges. Once this information is received by WWE, we will take the appropriate action.”
When the allegation first became public in 2011, WWE claimed Slater was with his fiancee the night Oliver was attacked. Some superstars who were around the couple that night claim Slater actually proposed to his now wife the same night of the alleged attack.
Editor’s Note:
Yeah, I think these allegations are probably a crock.
