Although many have questioned whether or not Zeb Colter has been written off of television for good, there have been no discussions about removing Colter from Jack Swagger or any current story lines involving Big Hoss. Colter has not been on WWE programming since WWE “SummerSlam” on Aug. 17, where he was kicked in the head by Swagger’s then opponentRusev.
Colter was reportedly kept off of WWE television the week following the attack in order to sell a head injury as the result of the kick. F4Wonline.com claims that Colter should be back and is only absent currently to help further the angle.
However, others have noted that it seems like WWE is giving up on the Swagger vs Rusev program. Mark Henry inserted himself into a program with Rusev on “Monday Night Raw,” and will continue to push the new angle during the Aug. 22 edition of “Smackdown,” leaving many to wonder where Swagger and Colter will move next.
Bo Dallas has approached Swagger twice since “SummerSlam,” and it seems that Dallas may be Swagger’s next opponent, but one would believe that Swagger must avenge the fall of his manager and defeat Rusev. The only thing for sure about the duo, is that Colter should be back on WWE TV very soon.
Editor’s Note:
Bring him back NOW. Swagger proved on Monday night that he’s not ready to speak on his own long-term. He needs a mouthpiece, and Colter is perfect.
