Multiple sources are reporting that WWE’s head writer, Adam Rudman, is already done with the company after only holding the position for 6 weeks. Rudman, who replaced former Head Writer and Senior VP of Creative and Development Eric Pankowski just before Wrestlemania 29, was confirmed to have been let go Friday when the WWE released a few of its developmental talents as well. PWTorch.com has confirmed that the release is official, and the WWE has not yet selected a new Head Writer.
It has also been reported that many people behind the scenes in the WWE did not believe that Rudman would last long. Rudman’s lack of insight and knowledge of professional wrestling is said to be the reasoning that many believed his tenure with the company would be short lived. These “Black Friday” releases are only the beginning of what many people believe to be the WWE’s annual “Spring Cleaning” of talent and employees.
