8/22 IMPACT WRESTLING *Spoilers*

Next week’s TNA IMPACT WRESTLING episode was taped Thursday night from Norfolk, Virginia. The show will air live in the US on August 22nd on SpikeTV.

– Impact opens with a Bad Influence & Bobby Roode in the ring cutting a promo. Roode congratulates Bully Ray on winning his second TNA World Heavyweight Championship, but claims that now he has a target on his chest. Out comes TNA Tag Team Champions James Storm & Gunner to set up a match with Roode and Kaz.

(1) Bobby Roode/Kazarian def. TNA Tag Team Champions James Storm/Gunner.

(2) Manik def. Sonjay Dutt.

(3) Joseph Park def. Christopher Daniels, Jay Bradley, & Hernandez in a BFG Street Fight.

– TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray comes out with the newest member of Aces and 8s, Tito Ortiz. Then comes Brooke Tessmacher and she makes out with the champ. Bully Ray then claims that he has the ‘hot Brooke’ now.

(4) Gail Kim def. ODB.

– The man replacing Kurt Angle in the Main Event Mafia for their match with the Aces and 8s is revealed to be AJ Styles! The crowd pops like crazy when the reveal is made and Styles comes out to his old theme.

(5) Main Event Mafia def. Aces and 8s. Styles gets the pin on Devon after hitting the Styles Clash, eliminating Devon from the company in the process. As Devon realizes what has happened, the crowd chants “Thank you” to him and he poses for them before the show concludes.
